This suburban black tie gala event will celebrate the Inauguration of the 44th President of the United States in style. Dance the night away in the ballroom to the sounds of Washington's premier DJ Lonnie C. You can also relax in the intimate Jazz Cafe to live smooth jazz, if all of the day's events have you worn out. There will be music, food and dancing in wonderful and vibrant Silver Spring, Maryland just outside the D.C. city line.

The "Average Joe" Presidential Inaugural Ball
Celebrate the Inauguration of the First African-American President and First Lady of the United States of America with old school and top 40 hits with DJ Wright at this suburban party! Join other African American professionals as we celebrate a historic moment. The Yes We Can Inaugural Party is a classy event that features a full open bar all night, hors doeuvres, music, dancing, 4 plasma screen televisions and complimentary parking. In honor of the importance of education to President Obama, the event will be held in the beautiful Maryland Club Lounge at the Samuel Riggs IV Alumni Center on the University of Maryland Campus.
